Women's Initiatives:
Women's Advisory Board

Central Point Partners’ Women’s Advisory Board was established to create a more compelling work environment and enhance career opportunities for our women by driving national and local initiatives that support, advance, retain, and reward them. Chaired by our CEO, the Women's Advisory Task Force is focused on increasing the number of women in leadership roles through targeted leadership development programs, career sponsorship opportunities and positioning Central Point Partners as a premier company for women.

Learning Focus

An inclusive workplace leverages the strengths of all of our employees and that is why we build these behaviors into everything we do. Our Supplier Diversity Initiative was designed to provide a leading-edge approach to recruiting, developing and increasing our diverse supplier base. Our program includes MBE, WBE, DBE, VET/SDV, LGBT, and SBE's who share our mission of providing quality services to their customers.

In selecting our diverse vendors, we consider businesses who share our vision of being the best provider of higher value staffing services and that can supply us with the most cost-effective, reliable products and services. Successful diverse supplier partners are those that are proactive about bringing value to us in a consistent and reliable manner. They understand our industry and the responsibility we embrace to provide staffing solutions/ candidates that ultimately benefit our client companies. The basic components of our Supplier Diversity Initiatives are

Outreach

actively seeking diverse suppliers through minority and business development organizations and participation in various trade show activities. Central Point Partners will enlist any recommendations on candidate assessments, new policy development, and mentoring of new Technology graduates.

Certification

verification of diverse supplier status through screening processes; Qualification - review and input of selected business criteria and referral to field offices, corporate account representatives, etc. for consideration.

Development

review of additional needs of diverse suppliers and exploring ways to provide assistance to them. Central Point Partners will have on-going meetings with diverse suppliers to ensure we are meeting each other's needs and how we can improve our partnership. Central Point Partners' goals for our diverse suppliers are to provide quality candidate resources for open job requirements. The requirements would be sent to diversity suppliers based on the niche skill sets of their candidates. If goals are not met with sending qualified candidates, that diversity supplier will be asked not to participate in Central Point Partners's program.

New Diverse Suppliers

as new diverse suppliers reach out to Central Point Partners, we will immediately qualify them and if qualifications are met, add them to or diversity supplier list. We will utilize source lists such as LinkedIn, local Chambers of Commerce, MBE Certified Service Providers list within each state, WBENC.org, sba.gov and referrals to identify potential new suppliers as well.

Utilization

Central Point Partners requires that all M/WBEs be properly certified by a National or Regional Council or government agency. Information on becoming a certified minority owned business can be obtained from any one of the NMSDC's - National Minority Supplier Development Council (39) Regional Councils at nmsdc.org. Information on becoming a certified woman owned business can be obtained from any one of the WBENC's - Women Business Enterprise National Council (14) Regional Councils at WBENC.org Certification information through the U.S. Small Business Administration can be obtained at sba.gov

Central Point Partners Internal Diverse Supplier Incentive Program

We have a Diverse Supplier Incentive Program internally that gives incentives to recruiters who work with Central Point Partners approved diverse suppliers.
